How long is the kilt hire?
Our standard kilt hire is for 4 nights. We would normally suggest collecting the outfit 2 days before your function and returning 2 days after.
For example, if your function is on a Saturday, we would recommend a Thursday to Monday hire. This gives you a couple of days to try on the outfit and come back to us if need be, and also allows you a couple of days after the function before returning the outfit to us.
If you need the outfit longer, the cost is £10 per night, per outfit. Just let us know at the time of booking and we can organise this for you.
We don’t currently offer a Hire Delivery service but we can assist getting the outfit ready for postage if you want to organise a courier to collect/return on your behalf.

What if I need to cancel my hire?
You may cancel your hire with Slanj Kilts at any time.
If the hire is cancelled more than 14 days before the collection date, you will be entitled to a full refund. If the hire is cancelled within 14 days of the collection date, you will be entitled to a full refund less the £30 deposit.
Hire Any Tartan Cancellation
If you are using our Hire Any Tartan service, our cancellation policy is slightly different.
As we are making a brand new kilt specifically for you, the hire needs to be cancelled 7 days after the order, otherwise you will lose your £200 deposit.
