The Euros Tartan

The New Charity Sports Tartan

Inspired by Scotland’s group at the Euros, this is a tartan that deserves to fly to Germany this summer.

Like many others in Scotland, Slanj are very excited about our men’s national football team participating in the upcoming EUROs in Germany.

Being experts in tartan highland-wear, the natural way to show our pride was to design a tartan dedicated to Scotland being there and wishing the team well throughout the competition.

The Euros Tartan is designed to be something worn by the tartan army in kilt form, whilst combining well with Scotland football tops and similar leisurewear items. The colours included in the tartan are inspired by Scotland’s Group A opponent’s flags, namely, Germany, Switzerland and Hungary. The dark blue backdrop to the coloured bands obviously represents the Scottish football strip.

Purchasing a kilt can be costly for a tartan army member which is why many look to our Clearance Kilts section for a fan friendly option. With this in mind, Slanj are now offering a Sports Kilt in the Euros tartan which is a lighter, cheaper option but still looks the part. More information on the Euros Sports Kilt are available on the product page.

20% Goes To Brothers in Arms Charity

The Euros tartan also has an important affiliation. We are giving 20% of all Euro tartan salles to the pioneering Scottish charity Brothers In Arms who are making great strides to reduce male suicide cases in Scotland.

You can find out more about Brothers in Arms at their website, including their ground-braking advancements in AI psychotherapy technology.
